Engineering
The problem
Coordinating multidisciplinary design without version conflicts or clash chaos, and keeping engineering data usable downstream instead of trapped in static drawing sets.
FEED and detailed design on a capital project typically involve multiple disciplines — civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation — each producing deliverables that have to stay coordinated as the design matures. When that coordination happens through email and PDF markups rather than a connected data model, clashes surface late (often in the field, where they're expensive to fix) and the engineering record itself becomes hard to trust by the time it's needed for commissioning or handover.
The NexBixi approach
NexBixi's Engineering & Connected Data capability group is built to keep engineering information — drawings, models, specifications — structured and connected rather than scattered across a document archive, so BIM coordination and 3D/digital-twin representations carry design intent through to construction execution.
The goal is an engineering record that stays traceable across FEED, detailed design, execution, and commissioning — not a fresh reconciliation exercise at every stage transition.
What to expect
Design coordination that surfaces conflicts earlier, and an engineering data set that's still usable — not just archived — once construction and commissioning begin.
